Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how earnup.app uses cookies and similar storage, and how we ask for your permission. It should be read with the Privacy Policy. The EarnUP mobile apps are not websites; they use on-device storage as described in the Privacy Policy, not this banner.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your browser. We also use similar tools such as localStorage. Together we call them “cookies” in this Policy.
2. How we ask
When you first visit the Site we show a banner. You can Accept all cookies or use Necessary only. You can change your mind later via the Cookie Policy page or by clearing the stored choice and reloading.
Strictly necessary cookies run so the Site works (language, remembering your choice, security). We do not need extra consent for those.
Optional cookies (analytics or measurement) run only if you press Accept all. If you choose Necessary only, we do not set optional analytics.
3. Cookies we use
Necessary: earnup_cookie_consent stores whether you accepted optional cookies. Duration: up to 12 months (or until you change it).
Necessary: language preference remembers Amharic, Afaan Oromoo, Tigrinya, or English on this Site. Duration: local device storage until you change it.
Optional: analytics (only after Accept all) may include first-party or privacy-respecting analytics to see which pages are used, so we can improve the landing page. We will not use optional cookies to sell advertising lists. If no analytics tool is configured yet, “Accept all” simply stores your permission for when a tool is added.
We do not currently use advertising or social-media tracking pixels on the Site. If that changes, we will update this Policy and ask again where required.
4. Third parties
If you follow App Store or Google Play buttons, Apple or Google may set their own cookies under their policies. Payment providers are used inside the apps, not via this marketing Site.
5. Browser controls
You can also block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may break language memory and the consent banner behaviour.
